YKK #5 aquaguard water resistant tape is produced by laminating a Polyurethane coating to the flat (non-coil) side of the zipper. Water splashes forms as water beads on the laminated side - see photos.
The slider is fitted on the zipper tape with the coil on the underside and the top of the slider head facing the laminated side of the tape - see photos.
It only suites reversable sliders which are sold separately.
The tape can be fitted with two reversable sliders.
The tape is sold by the metre and multiple quantities will be left uncut.
Application: outdoor furniture, backpacks, mattresses, sport gear and marine use.
